southern california is everything south of "the sixth standard parallel" and encompasses (from north to south) the counties of san luis obispo, kern, san bernardino, santa barbara, ventura, LA, orange, riverside, san diego, and imperial. we've got peaks and valleys, oceans, rivers and lakes, islands, sandy deserts, and beautiful, snow-capped mountains. we love the outdoors, travel, music, movies, and the everyday lives of our beautiful inhabitants. we are the sights and sounds of socal every day.
